In reply to Pauline. Hi Pauline! I actually didn't use cinnamon in this recipe because I thought the flavor of the other three spices was perfect. However, you can definitley add some cinnamon to the batter if you'd like. Maybe start with a teaspoon and see what you think? You can always add a bit more until you reach the flavor you're looking for. I hope that helps!

The 9th ingredient is butter…shouldn’t it be another spice like cinnamon?
