Hi Heidi! You can use an equal amount of cream cheese – I recommend using a block of “regular” cream cheese (ie not low-fat), and let it come to room temp so it incorporates easily.

This recipe can be made in a 9x13 pan so you can likely make the recipe as directed and have it fit in a trifle bowl. If you think you'll need a little more to fit, you could increase the recipe by half. I really hope you enjoy the recipe! Let us know how it turns out for you!
