I had the same problem, although the cake was delicious.

An absolutely delicious cake. BUT mine did not turn out to be large at all. I suspected this might be the case when I noticed how small the amount of batter was in the bundt pan. So my slices were about half the size of the one in the picture. Nonetheless, the texture and the flavor were marvelous, and everyone loved it. Still, this took so much time and trouble to make that I doubt I will try it again.

Well, this cake tasted great but was only like 3 inches tall! Didn’t seem to rise much at all and the batter almost looked like cookie dough when I put it in the pan. Was this recipe suppose to have liquid added or something? I did see a few other reviews with the same issue.

WOW!!!! this is the best orange cake I have ever tasted. so delicious. I made this cake and put it into mini bundt pan and not only did they turn out perfect, but they tasted so good. My son is a Bee Keeper and his Bees go to several ranches. Oranges and Almonds and everything in between. They had a huge Party and I did all of the baking for this event. It was a lot but so worth it. This Orange cake with the glaze was the hit of the party. Everyone got their own little cake, and they loved it. I was The Sugar Hero that day for sure. I used several of your recipes Elizabeth, and they all turned out so good. We had a very nice day eating desserts of all kinds. Thank you so much for making this party a huge hit for me….
